BUSINESS 20 TRAFFIC STUDY OPEN HOUSE HANDOUTS January 19, 2005 Public Meeting The TxDOT Odessa District, with the
assistance of Lee Engineering, LLC, is performing a study of traffic
operations and safety along the Business IH 20 (BI 20) corridor from 8th
Street in the City of Odessa to Midkiff Road in the City of Midland. The
purpose of this study is to identify short-term and long-term improvements
to address the operational and safety issues which currently exist along
the BI 20 corridor.
TxDOT is holding a public forum to discuss
this study and the BI 20 corridor. At this initial public forum, Lee
Engineering, TxDOT Odessa District’s consultant in charge of the project,
will present and summarize the existing conditions along the corridor.
After the short presentation, representatives from TxDOT and Lee
Engineering will be available for discussion and input on the safety,
operational, and access management issues along the BI 20 corridor from
those attending.
